Bao, who lives in Toronto with his landlady, Xa Thi Ngoc Tran, has traveled to Paris, France, Mexico, and Alberta over the past two years, staying in five-star hotels.
The 37-year-old financier said she met Bao during the COVID pandemic, but the couple didn't start traveling together until 2022.
"I never wanted to travel without him because he is my boy," she told SWNS.
The six-pound dog's first trip was a four-hour flight to Lake Louise, Alberta. Since then, Bao and Xa have flown across the ocean.
In Paris, the duo stayed at the Louvre Saint-Honore Hotel and had lunch at the iconic Café de Flore, as well as a stop at the Eiffel Tower.
Another feature of Bao is that he does not travel without his suitcase. He has a wardrobe of 75 items worth $2500, including a silk scarf from Chanel, shiny jackets and sweaters.
"Ever since he was a puppy, I've liked to outfit him according to my neutral aesthetic with trench coats and jeans, but Bao loves a Hawaiian shirt when he's on vacation," Tran said.
She also noted that there are additional costs associated with traveling with a pet, but she said it is "more than worth it."

At home, Bao also eats like a king, with a nutritious raw food diet that includes homemade bone broth to promote joint health.
"Getting Bao was the best decision and he is my perfect match," Tran told Fox News Digital.
Three years ago, Tran created an Instagram account for Bao, where she shares his "cheeky personality" and fashionable outfits. Bao has already gathered more than 168,000 followers and even posted a link to the outfit on his profile. According to Tran, Bao loves the camera, and she loves his connection with his thousands of followers.
As for the future, Tran told Fox News Digital that she and Bao plan to visit Beverly Hills.
"We'd also like to go back to Europe to visit Italy, and we'll go back to Mexico because we loved it there," she said.
