Ukraine's national team has dropped in the FIFA rankings - where are the Blue and Yellows?
The International Football Federation (FIFA) has presented an updated ranking of men's national teams. The Ukrainian national team is ranked 24th in it. SSPDaily tells about it.
The corresponding rating was published on the official FIFA website.
Serhii Rebrov's team dropped two places compared to the previous ranking published in December 2023.
The last time the Blue and Yellows took the field was in November last year, when they drew with Italy (0:0) in the final round of the group stage of the Euro 2024 qualifiers and failed to directly qualify for the continental championship.
However, Ukraine's position in the updated FIFA rankings was affected by the results of the recent Asian Cup. As a result of this tournament, Rebrov's team (1553.35 points) was outranked in the world classification by South Korea (1566.21 points) and Australia (1554.82 points).
It should be noted that Ukraine's next opponent in the Euro 2024 playoffs, the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, also lost two positions and now ranks 71st in the FIFA rankings.
There have been no changes in the top 10 of the world classification. As before, Argentina, the reigning world champion, is in the lead. It is followed by France and England.

It will be recalled that the semifinal of the playoffs for the 2024 UEFA European Championship Bosnia and Herzegovina - Ukraine will take place on March 21 at the field of our team's opponent.
