The Universe will fall apart: scientists have found out when it will happen
According to the Big Bang theory, humanity is facing a future in which the universe will be torn apart and cease to exist as we know it. First, galaxy clusters will be torn apart, then galaxies themselves, and then stars, planets, and later atoms themselves will disappear. Although it is hard to imagine, there is some evidence that such a scenario could happen.
SSPDaily tells about it.
Due to the strong acceleration of the expansion of space, galaxies are beginning to move away from each other at a speed exceeding the speed of light. This will lead to the galaxies being torn apart as the particles they are composed of will cease to interact with each other through the known fundamental forces of nature. According to the Big Bang theory, this will eventually lead to the breaking of bonds in the nuclei of atoms.
In other words, in the new universe, any two points, no matter how close they were before, will be located infinitely far from each other. That is, the universe will break apart.
Even if the Big Bang theory is correct, the universe will definitely not fall apart in the near future. This will happen over hundreds of billions of years.
